foundations, corporations, and governmental agencies.In response to
the rapidly changing environment of the NGO sector, Winrock is
seeking to diversify its funding over the next two to three years
by seeking more non-traditional funding sources which will enhance
our current portfolio of funders
We are seeking an experienced Vice-President of New Business
Services to lead the capture, proposal and overall global network
of partners and resources with a strong focus on maintaining
ambitious revenue growth targets and exemplary work with existing
funders.This is a demanding, challenging and exciting role,
requiring a dynamic individual with highly developed communication
skills and experience as well as strong knowledge of international
development, proposal preparation and compliance requirements and
the donor community.The position requires the ability to represent
Winrock and influence others to support Winrock's work and to build
and maintain relationships with new and current donors.
The incumbent will supervise the proposal development team to
submit proposals for an annual submission value of not less than
$300M, for approximately 150 proposal ranging from $50,000 to $50M
+, depending on funder, area of work and type of funding.15 percent
travel is required.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have
at least ten years of personnel and financial management experience
related to international development, outstanding proposal writing
and editing skills and strong negotiation and interpersonal
communication skills.
