Java Software Developer
Needham, MA

Position Overview:
Candidate will work in a team environment on the development of key management applications. Candidate will provide software development support from concept through development and integration to deployment of a large complex system.
Candidate must have experience with Enterprise Java development, web services (REST/SOAP), XML, OO design, development tools such as Rational Team Concert or Eclipse, and working experience with any RDBMS, including database design, SQL and PL/SQL. Candidate must have strong problem solving skills and be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Experience with Agile Scrum methodology, service-oriented architectures, cryptography, policy management, key management, or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is a plus. Experience with JBOSS and VMWare is a plus.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Full use and understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
General knowledge of other related disciplines
Keeps abreast of technology trends
Detailed knowledge of tools used by the organization such as Integrated Development Environments (IDE) like Eclipse or Visual Studio, as well as version control and defect reporting tools
Strong understanding of company policies and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to think creatively
Ability to multi-task
Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
Ability to clearly report relevant information
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in software engineering, a related technical field or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to travel 5% of the time.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Must be capable of obtaining a Security Clearance
