Darice, an international wholesaler/retailer of arts and craft products, is looking for an Inventory Accountant to serve as a member of the Finance ERP project team. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of the Infor M3 system focusing on inventory and costing areas. This position will perform accounting and analytics to assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory and related costs.Define, document and test processes related to inventory accounting and costing in implementing the ERP system. Collaborate with ERP team members and external consultants to remediate failure points of test processes. Perform analytics and prepare inventory data for conversion from the Legacy system to the ERP system. Assist other departments in developing training materials and executing training on inventory-related processes. Monitor and provide analytics on compliance with policies and procedures. Prepare journal entries and reconcile inventory data between the general ledger and subsidiary systems. Analyze variances and update costing standards. Perform financial analysis on inventory costs and margins and make recommendations to drive management decision making.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5
years of experience with inventory accounting and costing. Results-oriented, motivated self-starter with ability to balance other business considerations. Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Working knowledge of automated accounting systems, advanced Excel ability and proficiency with MS Office products. Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
