Working in a participative team based environment, using World Class Operations (WCO) processes and principles, the Engineering Associate provides cross-functional teams the technical knowledge and leadership required for the development of manufacturing equipment essential to line extensions and product improvements. Assignments include the application of expert knowledge to improve manufacturing competitive performance. Plans and leads medium to large sized projects/programs that include the integration of outside resources. Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult to complex problems using in-depth manufacturing specific knowledge, combined with the application of engineering principles. Independently determines approach and specific solutions to technical problems. Demonstrates good judgment in risk taking. Widely used as a technical expert within Clorox. Significantly contributes to major technology efforts within the organization. May serve as a work team leader for large/complex projects. Typically manages projects with a value of less than $5,000,000.

Qualifications:

FDA or regulated environment experience

WCO / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniques
Proven skills effectively to document and communicate technical information
Background in consumer packaged goods environment
Excellent presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences

Education Level/Degree:
