DUTIES: Manages engineers performing multiple and varied engineering tasks and specialties. Responsible for developing work plans, establishing technical objectives and assigning tasks. Monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met. Identifies and recommends changes to established practices and policies. Regularly interacts with supervisors, peer managers, and employees within and beyond a particular function. Requires in-depth technical and operational knowledge within area of responsibility. Often plays a proactive role in developing and applying new approaches to engineering design and development. Authorizes the resources necessary to achieve organizational goals. Participates in and is accountable for cross functional initiatives and collaboration, which may have significant impact on business results. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin.(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 60 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Experience must include 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Experience must include 1) EMC ControlCenter, 2) Symmetrix, 3) CLARiiON, 4) EMC CIM model, 5) UniSphere, 6) SYMAPI/SYMCLI, 7) Celerra XMLAPI, and 8) VNX. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
