POSITION Overview:
Our client, located in Alsip, IL, is looking for an ERP Support Specialist with Dynamics experience. In this role, you will be providing user support and maintenance for the ERP and other supply chain systems. Having prior supply chain systems experience is essential for consideration for this role.
Responsibilities:
Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 (MDAX) ERP platform system administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, development, testing, security, and training. Contribute the technical design, development, and testing of application components and enhancements for ERP and supply chain systems Provide technical support to users and contribute to goal setting and direction Document processes, conduct training of end users and resolve problems with AX2012 ERP other Supply Chain applications. Work with end-users to analyze, design, construct and implement small applications in support of regular business operations; document applications and provide cross-functional training as needed. Prepare comprehensive test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations, modifications or upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, MorphX and X+
development languages, Visual Studio 2010, SSAS and SSRS experienceandSQL Server (store procedures, triggers) Experience must include demonstrated expertise within the following Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 topics: Data architecture including working with data in forms; sorting records; filtering records; finding records Architectural components including: layers; models; labels; Help system; reporting Customization tools: using MorphX to customize the user interface; using the X+
editor to develop customizations; using the Type Hierarchy Browser and Type Hierarchy Context tools; using the reverse engineering tool Data dictionary and Application Object Tree (AOT) Tables and relations including: table structures and components; fields; field groups; indexes; delete actions; creating tables; creating relations; primary keys; foreign keys; surrogate keys Data types and base enumerations including: primitive types; extended types; creating and using data types and base enumerations Maps and views including: map functionality; map advantages; view functionality; view advantages User Interface including: creating and using menu items; menu functionality; creating menus Forms including: data sources; design; document view; editing data in a form, form types; list pages and list page metadata; working with the action pane; form parts Role and task based security including: working with roles, process cycles, and duties; working with privileges, entry points, and permissions; default security settings; server-based code authentication; data security filters; org model; effective date Database management including data manipulation, query development, query execution Exception handling
