Our Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Foundational Studies at Boise State University is recruiting for a full-time tenure-track position in quantitative methodology at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, maintaining an active scholarly agenda, and service are primary requirements for the position, in addition to supporting teacher preparation.
# Minimum Qualifications
Required
Qualifications: (1) Earned doctorate by August 2015; (2) Expertise statistics, measurement, and research design; (3) A potential for research, professional activity, and the development of teacher knowledge and inquiry; and (4) Demonstrated excellence in K-12 teaching.
# Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise hierarchical linear modeling, structural equation modeling, longitudinal data analysis, and/or mixed effects modeling; interest in teaching statistics and advising doctoral students; experience in culturally and linguistically diverse settings; experience integrating technology into the curriculum; and potential for obtaining external research funds.
