This position provides assistance to branch management by providing supervision of tellers, ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed; process customer transactions; help management meet branch goals by cross-selling products & services and responding to customer inquiries.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer all inquiries from customers and tellers; resolve any customer and/or staff problems, etc. Supervise teller line personnel by approving transactions, ensuring procedures are being followed, monitoring over/short reports, resolving personnel issues, preparing performance reviews, training tellers, etc. Maintain vault by ordering cash, distributing cash to tellers and reconciling the vau assure adequate cash is available for customer transactions. Operate a teller window processing customer transactions and balancing cash drawer daily. Open and close deposit accounts and cross-sell products and services. Physical Requirements:
Prolonged Standing (5-8 hours per day), frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1 - 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a Teller. Knowledge of Teller Standards, Policies & Procedures. Knowledge of Teller Computer System & Speed Keys. Previous cash, sales and/or customer service experience required. Must have own transportation, valid State of Ohio Driver's license and auto insurance at levels specified by FFL Management. Excellent Math & Calculator Skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Able to work days, Saturdays and overtime as directed.
