Position Summary
This position is responsible for the proper operation of the Psychological Training & Consultation Center. This position is responsible for the direction, management, coordination, and supervision of the Center in order to promote high standards of professional training and practice including adherence to ethical and legal standards of professional conduct and client care.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. from an APA accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
Currently licensed as a psychologist or license eligible at the time of hire in the State of Michigan.
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to perform the essential functions and requirements of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative/managerial experience within a clinical setting.
Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment.
Experience supervising clinical work of psychology graduate students.
Grant-writing experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establishes working relationships with other service oriented programs on campus, including the maintenance of collaborative relationships with the College of Health professions.
Supervises professional and office support staff and student employees.
Develops and maintains public relations with the community and other professional organizations.
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Center.
Responsible for providing training and supervision of clinic policies and procedures for undergraduate and graduate students.
Oversees delivery and supervision of client care.
Adheres to appropriate professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Seeks external funding for Center activities.
Coordinates external practicum placements and liaison with external supervisors of clinical and school psychology graduate students.
Serves on the Psychological Training and Consultation Center Advisory Board.
Develops, monitors and maintains the Center's budget and financial records.
Completes an annual report concerning the Center's activities - budget, student training, supervision activity, summary of clientele served, research activity, liaison activities with other departments, agencies and the community.
Designs, implements, strategically plans, and evaluates the Center's behavioral health service.
Maintains a five-year plan as part of an on-going process of the Center.
Encourages and facilitates the use of Center facilities for research.
Orders, distributes and tracks assessment materials and other supplies needed for the Center and Department assessment courses.
Coordinates and schedules room use.
Other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
