Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all makes of non-vehicle engines (diesel, gasoline, gaseous), AC/DC generators, electrical/electronic controls, automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, generator networks, and related components of the generator system (batteries, battery charger, fuel system, cooling systems, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Maintain Service Truck Inventory
Track Service Truck PM needs
Keep Trucks, Shop, Work Areas, Equipment, clean
Timely completion of paperwork
Communicate with Supervision and Customers in a Professional manor
Organize work and or repairs to be done
Assist other Technicians
Maintain exceptional customer relations
Perform / assist with PM work in the Field and Rental Maintenance
Assist Customers as needed
Provide basic hand tools needed to do the work
Follow all Safety requirements set by Bridgeway and Customer locations
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma
Military and or Skill Center training a plus
Hands on mechanical experience a plus
Willing to attend Company provided training both Technical and General Information. Including any that may require overnight travel.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of electricity
Working knowledge of Gas and Diesel engines
Mechanical background
CDL or commitment to obtain
Clean driving record
Safe Fork lift Operations
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with PCs and Windows based programs
Ability to navigate internet based trouble shooting and parts sites
Effectively manage time and activities
Neat Physical appearance
Towing and backing up of various size trailers
Work Environment:
24/7/365
Indoor / outdoor work sites. Weather extremes
Noisy environment
Occasional confined work area
Physical Demands:
Able to lift and carry heavy loads
Able to drive extended distances
Meet all DOT requirements
Able to work in tight confines
Able to carry heavy loads up multiple flights of stairsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
