Essential Job Functions

Communication with customers daily with focus on delinquent accounts through inbound and outbound phone calls, emails and written communication; and negotiate various payment arrangements.

Contact customers by investigating all possible sources of information and efficiently process payments and credit card transactions to ensure timely recording of Accounts Receivable.

Research chargebacks, recommend solutions and manage disputes through appropriate external customer channels and internal department communications.

The successful candidate will determine when account maintenance is necessary, make appropriate changes to minimize risk and facilitate sales adjustments and drive to resolution.

The position requires a collaborative nature in working with internal and external groups of teams, and seeks to eliminate ambiguity from the external customer's viewpoint.

Requires reporting account status to management and ensure accurate cash forecasting.

Follow established policies and procedures to ensure audit and internal control requirements are met.

Minimum Requirements
Associates degree in communications, business, or a related field with Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in collections or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
The ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.
Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
SAP or other ERP software preferred.
Experience in a sporting goods industry preferred.
Must have Distributor Collections / B & B
Calling businesses / owners
SAP is a huge plus

Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards. Minimal physical effort required; normally seated with the freedom of movement on a regular basis, handling of light materials. Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
