Vice President of Engineering and Construction position available in the Colchester VT area. Our client is looking to add a VP of Engineering and Construction to their permanent staff.
Responsibilities for the Vice President of Engineering
Direct the planning and engineering work performed for transmission and distribution system.
Ensure the appropriate records are gathered during construction and maintained within departments.
Oversee the monitoring and testing of the T & D system for safe operation.
Direct engineering and construction work on transmission and distribution systems.
Perform the lead role in the management of major engineering and construction projects.
Manage all aspects of the conceptual development, engineering design, construction and commercial operation of the projects.
Requirements for the Vice President of Engineering
Ten or more years experience with engineering management in the natural gas industry.
Experience managing multiple functions.
Large scale capital project management experience is critical.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. PE Certification highly preferred.
