Job Details:

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice(s) to ensure administrative functions are running smoothly; provides supervision of lead personnel and support staff at the site(s); reviews business operations including: volumes, billing, marketing, planning, patient flow, and policies and procedures. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director(s), hospital administration, providers and staff to coordinate business and clinical functions to optimize clinical care, patient satisfaction and financial success. Plays a key role in developing strategy for practice(s), related service lines, and MaineGeneral Medical Center (MGMC) overall.
Qualifications/Competencies:

3 years or more experience in a physician practice setting or related health care entity including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in health care or business related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communications preferred.
Knowledge of fiscal and human resource management techniques.
Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Abilities in planning, organizing, problem solving and decision making.
Skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships.
Ability to research, analyze and interpret complex data, and prepare comprehensive reports.
Commitment to service excellence.
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
