As our Assistant Controller for the North America (NA), you'll provide oversight and leadership of the accounting,financial reporting and internal control functions for our NA business (United States and Canada). You'll support the NA Controller and Nike's Global Controlling organization to ensure the integrity of the financial statements (management and statutory) and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP. You'll drive functional excellence and alignment across our geography's operating entities and monitor compliance with Corporate financial policies and procedures. You'll contribute to the development and execution of the geography's functional strategy and manage/influence key relationships to achieve functional goals across NA. You'll be responsible for solving unique and complex technical accounting issues that have a broad impact on the business and serve as a corporate liaison and business advisor to our territory finance teams on financial accounting and reporting operations. You'll thrive and adapt in a business environment that's fast-paced, continually evolving, and covers multiple time zones and currencies. You'll anticipate local and global business challenges and evaluate financial risks and opportunities. You'll provide people leadership by actively participating in activities such as work planning, process and policy development, resource optimization,goal-setting, coaching, and performance monitoring. You'll also have cross-functional management responsibilities and will collaborate with your fellow finance leaders to build teamwork across departments, lead cross-group initiatives and maximize the overall productivity of the NA Finance organization.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
