Our client is looking for a RAN Project Manager in Glen Allen, VA.

Responsible for all aspects of assigned project/projects for or within the Network organization delivering the project within the identified timeframe and at or below budget.
Manages the initial deployment/overlay of UMTS technology and LTE on a specific set of sites in a particular grouping defined by the program manager.
Single Point of contact on end to end management of assigned (large/multiple) projects, completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.
Clarifies and develop project scope, detailed work plans, schedules, objectives, estimates coordinates activities of the project team, identifying resources and implementation strategy.
Conducts project status meetings, project reporting, and is responsible for project tracking and analysis, including project interdependencies.
Collaborates across multiple functions to ensure adherences to quality standards, internal processes, and reviews project deliverables.
Identifies, recommends and takes action to drive the analysis, solutions resolution to all issues/roadblocks in a timely fashion.
Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations, markets and outside suppliers/vendors.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Communication with stakeholders, internal clients, vendors and executive leadership.

Experience Requirements:
5
years' experience successfully managing large, complex, technical projects (networks preferred)
Wireless Engineering principles and Networking Deployment knowledge/experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
PMP certification preferred but not required

Ability Requirements
Proven ability to take complete ownership of a project - this includes the ability to reach out to various teams and find the answers to questions
Proven ability to matrix manage - successfully manage across organizational boundaries
Proven ability to successfully build positive and productive relationships across the project team
Proven ability to work in and adapt to an ambiguous and changing environment
Proven ability to consider and successfully manage multiple variables impacting a project
Proven ability to think systemically/strategically - understand how their project fits into the larger program and identify how changes in one will affect the other
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Willingness to perform night work (i.e. maintenance window cut-overs)

Other Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the US (visas are not sponsored)
Must be able to interview in person at the listed location above with a 48 hour notice
Must be able to begin work at the listed location within 3 weeks of an official offer, (relocation is not paid)
A background and drug screen will be required. Possibility for a driving/MVR screen.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
