Join our client's rapidly growing team of top notch software engineers working on the next generation platform for cloud and virtualization powered by machine learning analytics. As a key member of the Data Scientists team, you will be responsible for applying machine learning principles to the large data-sets while addressing many challenging use cases in cloud and virtualization.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience on a development team, shipping production software.
Agile software development practice.
3 - 5 consecutive years of experience with Java SpringSource or equivalent experience with an object-oriented language such as C++, C#.
Data Mining and Machine learning experience including:
- Solid understanding and experience in applying and implementing machine learning algorithms such as: Support Vector Machine, Clustering (varieties), Gaussian distribution, etc.
- Experience working with big data and real time/near real time analytics and big data platforms and tools/libraries like Hadoop MapReduce, Neo4J, MongoDB, Weka, Mahout, MADlib, Jubatus.
Experience with REST based API development and JSON data formats.
Familiar with test-driven development methodologies and have experience with a testing framework such as Junit.
Education: Master's Degree or higher is highly preferred in the field of applied statistics, mathematics or computer science.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
