Journeyman-Electrician
St. Helens, Oregon
As Journeyman-Electrician, you will apply your electrical theory and knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery and electrical control equipment, as well as install, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical circuitry used in the manufacture of tissue products. This is a great opportunity for a junior-level candidate to come into the organization, and eventually take on the role of Process Engineer. To qualify, you must be a licensed journeyman (an LME is acceptable, but you must be willing to obtain licensure) with repair and troubleshooting and fixture installation experience. Instrumentation experience is a plus! Your background should be within a plant-manufacturing environment, preferably, one that operates on a 24-hour basis. That said, you must be willing to work 4 days on/4 days off (2 days and 2 nights). And finally, our client will look for candidates with turnaround experience and good leadership skills.
