The Regional A&E Production Manager will be charged with managing a team of Designers and CAD drafters in a high volume, fast paced environment meeting tight deadlines in the wireless telecommunications industry. This person will lead/work closely with other disciplines on assigned projects from planning, preliminary design, front end engineering, preparation of drawings and documents, evaluations, project management, construction support, liaison with local authorities and as-built documentation. Provide technical knowledge of designs, engineering and CAD operation while consistently achieving overall department growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Plan workflow and resource allocation in a high volume, fast-paced environment
Interface with internal and external customers, building relationships and assuring a strong customer focus
Monitoring the project workload and directing staff within department to complete tasks
Will be working with multi-discipline engineering team and interact with other inter-company departments
Use CAD drafting software to modify and prepare engineering design documents
Provide and oversee effective designs to meet client requirements
Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area as needed.
Analyze survey reports, structural reports, electrical plans, landscape plans, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, geotechnical reports, alta surveys, topographic surveys, and other topographical and geologic data to plan projects
Coordinating with other internal team members on multi-discipline projects, which often includes surveyors, drafters, electrical, and structural engineers
Resolve design and development problems
Ensure projects run smoothly and are completed on time
Responsible for quality and delivery of construction documentation
Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment
Manage the daily operating/personnel activities of the department
Effectively build, lead, direct, mentor, and motivate a team of designers and CAD drafters to produce a high-quality product to our customers on time
Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
Office and construction sites (as needed)
Ability to sit and work at computer for an extended period of time
Ability to walk up numerous flights of stairs and/or work on rooftops and outside environments
Periodic weekend or evening work as needed
Routine travel may be required in multiple state area as needed

Requirements:
Associates or BS in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent experience
4 years managing an engineering or architectural department
Experience in Telecom industry, specifically in wireless communication site design
High level of understanding and use of AutoCAD
Ability to read and interpret structural details, surveys, electrical plans, construction drawings and specifications
Background in all, or some, of the following areas: Cellular, backhaul transmission designs, site evaluation and selection, construction management, building codes and permitting processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
