The Chief Operating Officer directs, administers and has overall
strategic responsibility for the internal operational activities of
Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) in accordance with policies,
goals and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and
the Board of Directors. Leads and directs or supports the CEO in
the following System departments, entities and/or functions:
Accounting, Applied Sciences, Business Development, Center for
Community Outreach, Corporate Compliance, Development, Division of
Education, Facilities and Property, Family Health Center, Human
Resources, Lakeview Medical Center, Legal Services, Marketing and
Communications, Marshfield Clinic Food Safety, Security Health Plan
and Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation. Assists the CEO in the
development of MCHS' policies and goals that cover operations,
personnel, financial performance and growth of the departments,
entities and/or functions noted above.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred. Ten years of experience in a senior
leadership role with financial management experience gained in a
high-growth organization is required. Experience with for profit
and with nonprofit finance and accounting regulations. Desired
experience in working with multiple domains or functions of an
organization to include but not limited to: Marketing and
Communications, Human Resource, Governance, Strategic Planning,
Information Technology, Business Development and Research and
Education.
