Groupon Goods is a recently launched online retail arm of Groupon. It features really good deals on great products. To get airspace on Groupon Goods, a product has to be cool enough to share and innovative enough to inspire. It also must be made of reliably bonded molecules and stardust.
Last year we launched our very own Fulfillment Center to help us get our products to customers faster and improve the overall experience. This year we are looking to make that building run like a hybrid car, efficient yet cost effective. We will be implementing a best-in-class warehouse management system and making a number of other technology improvements.
The Goods Product & Technology team is seeking a Product Manager to implement, manage, support, and enhance the new warehouse management system for our Fulfillment Center and help us deliver a world class shopping experience to our customers. This role will be business facing with Fulfillment Center staff and Operations/Logistics leadership but requires deep technical understanding of systems integration. The successful candidate should have solid supply chain software implementation experience, strong process understanding, excellent communications skills, and a knock it out of the park attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
Gather requirements and drive them through the entire lifecycle - scoping, prioritization, design and delivery, working closely with business and technology teams.
Design robust integration between the warehouse management system and backend supply chain systems.
Manage activities and tasks against a project plan to ensure on-time, high quality delivery.
Support functional and integration issues in a production environment with quick defect resolution.
Define and deliver a product roadmap with regular releases of new functionality and enhancements.
Motivate stakeholders. Earn their trust and hold them accountable.
Identify key metrics and track and measure business performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher required, with a technical background preferred.
2-5 years' experience managing technology related projects.
Supply chain software implementation experience (at least two full lifecycles) required, Manhattan WMOS experience preferred.
Strong technical understanding of software architecture and integration, specific experience querying and analyzing data using SQL preferred.
Pays attention to the details, takes care of all the minor details that lead to a polished and beautiful product.
Ability to think strategically and act tactically coupled with a strong sense of ownership.
Able to lead others from problems to solutions and collaborate effectively.
Proven track record of delivering results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
