This is an internship position based in our office in Menlo Park.
Responsibilities
Architect, implement and deploy new data models and data processes in production.
Perform data analysis to generate business insights.
Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Product Analysts to understand product goals and data needs.
Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
Manage data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products.
Support critical data processes running in production.
Requirements
Must be available for a 12-week internship (co-op students 14-week internship) between August 2014 and January 2015
Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field.
Programming expertise in a language of your choice.
Knowledge of SQL.
Experience in ETL framework is a plus.
Knowledge of database systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Curious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with data.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
