TASC is currently seeking a Human Factors Engineer to provide technical support to the Human Factors Team (HFTAC) program at the FAA William Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Developing, conducting, and supporting Human Factors research related to air traffic control, technical operations, air traffic standards, and applications.
Providing subject matter expertise in statistics and experimental design. (Familiarity with Bayesian statistics is a plus.)
Researching, assessing, and developing Human Factors standards.
Participating in the preparation and running of laboratory research, as well as the collection, entry, and processing of experimental data.
Field work, surveys, making on-site observations, and conducting interviews with user groups.
Documentation and technical writing of experimental results.
A Ph.D. in applied or Experimental Psychology, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Sociology, or Industrial Engineering.
Three years of professional experience in the field of Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, or Ergonomics.
A strong record of publications in refereed scientific journals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
