TASC is seeking a Technical Advisor/Analyst to work in Lorton, VA.A qualified person will act as a technical advisor/analyst to the senior government Science and Technology (S&T;) manager at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Chemical and Biological Division for Physical Sciences, Materials, Imaging Sciences and Demonstrations Capability Area including advanced science and technology development. The individual will provide programmatic and technical support to Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATD) with an emphasis on bio surveillance and early warning. The individual will work closely with other DTRA directorates, DoD agencies, geographic combatant commands and the interagency in coordination and leveraging technology and capability development. The individual may be required to participate in international activities with partnering countries and governments.
This position requires interface with the Joint Requirements Office (JRO) for Chemical and Biological Defense to assist with optimizing the S&T; investment to meet the needs of the warfighter. The analyst will maintain an open dialogue with the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical & Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) to successfully transition technologies from S&T; into acquisition Programs of Record. Additional requirements may require the individual will work with the government client to determine budgetary requirements for the Joint Science and Technology Office for Chemical & Biological Defense (JSTO-CBD) Protection and Hazard Mitigation S&T; program and submit requirements to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) to be included in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and support Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. The analyst will be instrumental in developing the annual program build for the Chemical and Biological Protection and Hazard Mitigation science and technology (S&T;) program with an annual budget of $30M+.
Active/current Secret clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is desired.
Bachelor of Science plus 9 years of relevant experience is required, or a MS/MBA plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Doctorate plus 4 years of experience.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Interagency and/or military experience is a plus.
Degree in the biological sciences is desired. A Master's Degree or Ph.D. is optimal.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
