This position is located at the Medical Home for the Officer in Charge, Fallon Branch Health Clinic in Fallon, Nevada.
You must be a US Citizen. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. This position is a drug-testing designated position (TDP). You must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Plans and administers professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care setting; utilizes assessment skills to identify care goals, formulate plans to meet individual and age specific patient care needs; and revise care objectives as the patient's condition warrants.
Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments consistent with current policy and practice; Maintains complete and pertinent clinical forms and records.
Develops, teaches, and counsels patients on disease management and basic health and wellness management and provides instruction to patient and families on plan of care.
Plans, coordinates, and conducts regular and special in-service training sessions to medical staff.
