Responsibilities:
Design and develop predictive models leveraging state-of-the-art technologies including Big Data framework and generate actionable insights into customer behavior
Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, ensemble methods, collaborative filtering, Look Alike methods eg K-nearest neighbors, association rules, and Matrix factorization
Develop POCs with a quick turnaround to meet the needs of Business Stakeholders
Leverage data management processes and available infrastructure/API tools to develop Proof-of-Concept Capabilities/Solutions in Big Data
Create and execute strategies to establish Big Data Capabilities as AXP enterprise wide capabilities
Understand and implement change management control processes
Governance/Compliance/Regulatory management
Qualifications
You have a passion for empirical research, a desire to work on challenging data problems around the predictive analytics and a demonstrated ability to learn and innovate Ability to transform data and prototype quickly to conduct statistical analysis using tools like R, Python, Java, or SAS o Proficiency with SQL and relational databases Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments The ability to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, and external constituencies Comfortable communicating with and receiving feedback from both technical and non-technical audiences Expert in Big Data technologies and machine Learning algorithms in Map-Reduce framework Expert in Database, platform architecture and SQL languages Experience in Business intelligence, data analytics and machine learning models Experience leading teams to design, develop and deploy models in production Experience in Hadoop operating systems and utilities Experience in developing APIs in MapReduce framework, Hadoop Stack, Java, Perl, Python, C+
and Bash Experience in ETL using NoSQL/DS databases such as HBase, M7, Solr & Elastic Search Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
