United Health Care Staffing currently has a thirteen week assignment available, immediate start for an occupational therapist in the Porterville, CA area.
This OT job will have the ideal candidate working in a prestigious rehabilitation facility in an acute care setting. The perfect occupational therapist for this position will have extensive experience working on all skill levels with the geriatric community and will be able to maintain 85-95% productivity during their assignment. Essential duties for the occupational therapy job entails the applicant to correctly assess each patient's needs and develop and implement a plan of care to assist each patient with their developmental, emotional, mental and/or physical impairments. The OT job requires the candidate to have the ability to collaborate with patients, doctors and other health care professionals in order to develop the best course of action for each individual patient. A working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies, as well as familiarity with completing computerized documentation is also required for this occupational therapy job.
