Quality Assurance Inspector for Marine and Industrial Shop

Local manufacturing firm is seeking a quality assurance inspector in a marine and industrial shop. Products produced in the marine and industrial shop would be foundations, piping, shipboard structure repairs, ventilation systems,etc. Experience with QA processes involved in Navy fabrication documents, to include material receipt inspection, workmanship inspection, dimensional inspection, coating inspections and final inspection on fabricated and welded assemblies. Must be proficient in reading drawings and specification interpretations. Must be able to prepare reports using Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Prior visual inspection certification to ASNT Level II weld inspection a plus. Must have a clean background and be able to gain entrance into any shipyard, base and obtain a RAPIDGATE credential.
