This position will assist in creating and implementing quality assurance systems for the organization. Works up-front as a liaison between Quality Engineer, customers and manufacturing floor, to translate customer requirements into inspection protocols for manufacturing applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Assist Quality Engineers with process verification / validation activities.
Work with Quality Engineers to create process maps, control plans, and flow plans for product families.
Determine inspection methods, control plans, process PFMEAs and inspection summary reports.
Design in-process gauging to be used by manufacturing and inspection.
Interact with manufacturing personnel to gather process data.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and/or customers.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations and intermediate software packages.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING EQUIPMENT AND MACHINE COMPETENCIES:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or in pursuit of a B.S. in Engineering, preferably Industrial or Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
