Job Description:
This position requires a meticulous, and positive person, with good communication skills, who will help remediate the clinical data warehouse as part of the Epic eCare Healthcare Enterprise Solution implementation. Incumbent will work as part of a team remediating the clinical, operational and financial data warehouse for the Epic implementation.
The incumbent will work under the guidance of the analytics team as an individual contributor and as part of a team. This position will supplement the internal data warehousing team and will be responsible for verifying the correctness of Informatica jobs, and for tracking issues to remediation.
Responsibilities include developing test plans, developing test scripts (writing SQL code), work with development teams to create and executing the test plan and documenting the results, logging defect tickets, working with Informatica developers and others to identify the cause of unanticipated test results, leveraging best practices, and being a positive force in a team development environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Identifies, analyzes, and documents system defects.
Functions as part of a broader team to remediate Enterprise Data Warehouse
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details.
Ensures that development solutions meet defined technical, functional, and service level ?requirements and standards
Provides consistent quality in work output, using best practices, templates, and guidelines.
Develops, maintains, and verifies test cases through proficient application of occasionally complicated SQL statements (select, insert, update, join, etc.).
Participates in System testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, and Deployment validation of ETL (Informatica) packages.
Participates in meetings, provides regular status updates, discusses issues that must be resolved, creates and updates content in online systems (e.g. defect tracker).
Proactively communicate and collaborate with team members to analyze information needs, and raise any blockers or concerns to project manager.
Work with project team and management to identify and document benefits, costs and risks associated with solution alternatives, while balancing stakeholder expectations regarding project timeline, cost, and scope.
Has responsibility for the security of medical and financial confidential information.
Collaborate effectively as an exemplary representative of Information Systems. On-going communication, feedback and follow-through with peers are essential.
Qualifications
Proven track record, and have prior experience working in a complex systems environment.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands to successful completion.
Three years experience in QA roles, supporting Data Extraction, Transformations and Loading in an enterprise team development environment.
Proficiency with writing SQL scripts for testing ETL processes, Oracle preferred.
Excellent communication skills, team player, ability to work individually and meet tight deadlines.
Strong experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), and an understanding of relational database design, including Star-schema.
Oracle SQL syntax.
TOAD, SQL Plus, Golden, SQL Server Management Studio.
Informatica 9.x, esp. WorkFlow Manager, WorkFlow Monitor.
Windows operating system experience.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with people from all organizational levels.
Knowledge of PC applications, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.
Quickbase, LiveLink, and other content management systems as necessary.
Ability to be flexible, versatile and adaptable both in day-to-day activities conducted in a multi-site environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
