JOB SUMMARY
The Business Group Analyst will be responsible for monthly financial closing activities/sales forecast, reporting and analysis processes to help PSD leadership make appropriate financial business decisions and sound, innovative planning for managing the division's financial affairs to maximize long-term profits, cash flow and total return to Nordson shareholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly Flash sales report comparing actual vs. forecast and sales forecast Prepare monthly financial statements and LOB P&L reports for publication to PSD and Corporate management. Prepare weekly PSD order entry and shipment reports as well as corporate reports (backlog reports). Prepare journal vouchers as needed. Review subsidiary financial statements for accuracy, proper Nordson accounting treatment, and reasonableness on a monthly basis. Support PSD management team with ad-hoc financial analysis and requests in support of projects, expense planning or data collection to assist in decision-making. Assist PSD/NKK Controller and Manager on developing annual operating plan, mid-year review, strategic plan and other meeting supporting schedules Prepare year-end audit schedules, reconciling all balance sheet account balances and significant activity during the year. Utilize appropriate financial analysis techniques, data and prudent assumptions to evaluate information for accuracy and reasonableness. Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance, or other Bachelor's degree in combination with MBA and/or relevant experience. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial planning/analysis. Knowledge of general ledger and ERP systems (SAP) is required. Advanced Microsoft experience including Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc.), Word and PowerPoint required. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and implement process improvements that generate time savings through automation and standardization. Strong understanding of accounting principles with an attention to detail. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to efficiently multi-task, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and adjust priorities as needed. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. SAP experience preferred. Exposure to global manufacturing environment a plus. SOX compliance experience a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
