The Red Hat Marketing team is seeking an Analyst Relations Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with industry analyst companies to inform and educate them on Red Hat products and services, use their consulting services to the benefit of Red Hat development and marketing groups, and engage their services for Red Hat go-to-market activities. You'll play an important role in Red Hat's corporate and solutions marketing activities through your influential capacity with customers and partners, while ensuring that analysts have a sound knowledge of Red Hat so they can assess the company, its strategies, and its solutions appropriately and give their clients accurate information.
This position is a great opportunity to work with the industry analyst community and to influence how Red Hat is perceived by the global IT market.
Work with Red Hat groups to manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and consulting sessions, and ensure analysts are up to date with Red Hat technologies and solutions
Encourage all Red Hat groups to engage in proactive analyst activities
Identify and develop engagement opportunities within Red Hat and analyst groups
Build personal relationships with leading analysts so you are viewed as a trusted face of Red Hat
Identify and work to correct analyst errors and inaccuracies
Attend analyst events to gain knowledge of their thinking and opinions on the IT market and Red Hat to report back to Red Hat management
Play an active role in Red Hat event activities related to industry analysts
Review, comment, and provide feedback to analysts regarding their draft research both as an individual contributor and in collaboration with appropriate Red Hat groups
Help guide and focus Red Hat's public persona
Participate in Red Hat's analyst relations activities, with future plans incorporating analyst newsletters, analyst web portal, and global analyst coordination
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
3
years of industry analyst relations or product marketing and management experience within software companies
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
middleware products like application servers, integration servers, data integration, and application development tools and technologies
cloud computing
systems management
operating systems
software defined data center technologies
Solid understanding of today's enterprise IT software market

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
