Stormwater Aide - $14.89 per hour. The City of Pullman is accepting applications for the position of part-time Stormwater Aide. Performs inventory, inspection, maintenance, outreach, research and recordkeeping duties in support of the stormwater services division within the public works department. Minimum qualifications include: Graduation from high school; two years college education in engineering, natural resources or an associated field or two years experience in inspection/inventory of public infrastructure, landscaping, utility maintenance or a combination of education and experience totaling at least two years. Possession of a valid driver's license. Ability to work in unimproved field conditions and to perform manual labor. Physically perform the essential functions of the job, specifically lifting and replacing cast-iron storm drain grates and manhole covers weighing up to 50 pounds; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
