Bench Scientist II needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Collegeville, PA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Broad scientific expertise and understanding of cancer biology, cell biology, biochemistry or related field.
- Proven track record of hands-on laboratory contributions to development and routine use of methods for target validation and/or evaluation of compounds.
- More specific expertise in any or all of the following areas: cell growth and survival pathways, intracellular signalling, protein modification, genetic manipulation, RNA interference, mechanistic biochemistry, microscopy, pharmacodynamic assay development.
- Proven track record of progression of drug discovery programs from target identification and/or screening through lead optimization and clinical evaluation is an advantage.
- Critically review literature and thus refine hypothesis for target identification and validation.
- Designs and executes new and established methods and protocols related to area of expertise.
- Begins to evaluate potential innovative research areas.
- Must be strongly independent, self-starting and supportive of team-based research and able to work effectively in a Matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to lead and influence team decision making are required for success.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of Bachelor's in Science and four (4) years of hands-on experience at the bench in the pharmaceutical environment.
- The successful candidate will work together with a highly motivated team on novel and established oncology targets to progress related programs and clinical projects.
