Senior Software Engineer for Hyper-V Storage Development: Develop architecture and functional design specifications for Offline Data Transfer (ODX) feature of Server Message Block (SMB) server. Design and develop the necessary file system interface for ODX functionality. Design and Develop a mechanism to preserve file states in a persistent media to support high availability (HA) failover between the Tintri controllers. Collaborate with other developers to select appropriate design solutions. Create implementation and test plans. Develop software and implement test cases according to these plans. Document installation and operating procedures, best practices, troubleshooting guides, and related information. Provide support during the installation process, including technical guidance and troubleshooting for employees and customers as the needs relate to design and development job duties. Works at Tintri Offices in Mountain View, CA.
Qualifications: Position requires a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field, plus three years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar position. The position also so requires 3 years of experience in Linux development environment; experience using C and C+
programming language; development experience in Data management for storage solution, such as Riverbed Granite storage product or similar product; and experience in developing high availability (HA) modules for storage related appliance.
