The City of Chanute is now accepting applications for a Golf Course Superintendent for the Stone Creek Golf Course. Successful candidate shall perform supervisory & administrative work in the operations of the City Golf Course. Responsible for managing and maintaining all golf course properties, including grounds, buildings, cart paths, non-play surfaces, trees, irrigation systems, & fleet. Must possess Kansas Commercial Chemical Applications License and advanced knowledge of agronomy & turf grass management practices, a 4-year degree in related field and 2-4 years on the job experience or any combination of education or experience that would provide the skills and responsibilities as required. Must have working knowledge of golf facility & thorough understanding of the rules & regulations of the game of golf. Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000.
