DME Debt Management Associate

## Description
NHIC, Corp. a Medicare contractor, has an opening in Biddeford, ME for a Medicare Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Debt Management associate which will perform routine but moderately complex tasks related to Medicare claim overpayments, debt referral and the review of supporting documentation for compliance with Medicare rules and standards. The associate will apply knowledge of established procedures to reviewing documentation for Medicare compliance and process the claims debt appropriately in a production environment.
_Knowledge and Skills:_
Computer skills used to include Excel and Word.
Experience working in a fast paced office/production environment
Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in customer facing role either remote or face to face.
Understands internal processes and tools.
Problem solving skills.
Accuracy in data entry.
Familiarity with computer technology.
Time management skills.
Oversee compliance with operating procedures and standards.
## Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
High school education or equivalent.
Customer service experience, including responding to inquiries via letter; or equivalent college or technical training.
To adequately perform the duties of the job individuals must possess a minimum of 6 months to 1 year general administrative experience, or equivalent college level education.
Financial experience preferred, to include working with Excel spreadsheets, researching debt receipts and an understanding of debt progression.
