Description
Responsible for registration of patients. Conducts patient interviews to obtain required information, complete requested forms, and obtain signatures. Explain hospital's financial policy. Distributes information to required hospital departments. This position requires ability to multi-task and be self-motivated. The registrar must be knowledgeable in the registration process for ER, Outpatient Registration and Admissions. This Registrar must maintain an error rate of less than 5%. Understanding the HMS and Pro-Med system is a must. This employee must excel in point of service collections.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience: Knowledge of medical terminology. Demonstrate through completion of medical terminology class and annual review. Must achieve and maintain a passing B. Good typing and computer skills. Flexible schedule.
License/certification: None.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
