Network Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Kirkland, WA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Windows administration, particularly network configuration (load balancing, failover clustering, NIC teaming, etc )
- Hyper-V administration, particularly network configuration (how to set up a VSwitch, etc )
- Troubleshooting, problem solving, and making decisions
- Working with DNS, SMTP, SSL certs, creation, management, etc.
- Scripting/coding using PowerShell and BASH
- Network security
- Working with IPv6,Network management, programming, and monitoring protocols (SNMP, Netflow and sFlow)
- Configuring and managing Radius Authentication
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- CCNP
- Cisco IOS/NX-OS switch administration
- Windows administration, particularly network configuration (load balancing, failover clustering, NIC teaming, etc )
- Hyper-V administration, particularly network configuration (how to set up a VSwitch, etc )
- Protocol Analyzers (WireShark, NetMon, etc )
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, judgment, and decision making skills.
- Strong working knowledge of DNS
- Strong working knowledge of SMTP
- Strong working knowledge of SSL certs, creation, management etc.
- Strong working knowledge of GTM's
- Experience with Scripting/coding using PowerShell and BASH
- Strong understanding of network security
- Strong knowledge of protocol flows and identifying risks, solutions and remediation processes across Network Software and Hardware platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with IPv6,Network management, programming, and monitoring protocols (SNMP, Netflow and sFlow)
- Experience configuring and managing Radius Authentication
- deep understanding of the network device life cycle, deploying network devices at scale, network access control lists, network protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, RMON, IPSEC
- Two (2) years of experience with SolarWinds
- Three (3) plus years' working in an enterprise networking environment.
- Three (3) plus years of experience working with L2/L3 switching platforms, application networking, and popular network protocols.
- Three (3) plus years of experience in designing large and complex network infrastructures based on customer requirements.
- Knowledge and experience working with mainstream TCP/IP routing protocols including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MST is required
- Three (3) plus years of Internet architectures and associated routing, switching, load balancing, troubleshooting and security technologies are required
- Three (3) plus years of experience in load balancing, preferred F5 products
- Three (3) plus years of building, supporting and growing networks.
- Three (3) plus years of managing Windows Server DHCP
- Three (3) plus years of configuring and troubleshooting Fiber fabric topology
- Three (3) plus years of experience managing Firewalls both hardware/Windows.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred
Qualifications:
- Secret Server knowledge
- Experience setting up public cloud VPNs in Azure
- Virtual networking and VPN for host networking and connection back on-premises
- Experience with Riverbed Optimizer
- Experience with Penetration testing
