Scientist II- Biologics Expression needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ridgefield, CT.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture
- Multi-specific expression from mammalian and microbial host systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Implement new technologies in the areas of multi-specific expression from mammalian and microbial host systems.
- Perform essential expression experiments for the creation of multi-specific biotherapeutics
- Design of analyses, interpretation of own experiments and proper documentation and communication
- Effectively communicate results in project and technical meetings
- Contributes to lab organization and group administration
- Responsible for the compliance with all applicable regulations
- Ensure that work performed is conducted in a safe and compliant manner
- Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Master or Bachelor of Science degree with at least one (1) year of practical work experience
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture
- Experience with microbial production (E.coli, Yeast) highly desirable
- Industrial biotech experience preferred
- Knowledge of immunoglobulin structure and function.
- Solid background in cell biology, molecular biology or biotechnology
- Ability to plan and conduct laboratory experiments and evaluate and interpret data
