Our client, a leading manufacturer located in Michigan City, IN is looking for a Material Analyst for a 2-3 month assignment (possibly longer).
Job Description: Material Analyst
Utilize, implement and monitor MRP System to support manufacturing areas in material procurement, organization, and tracking.
Material Analyst Job Duties
Analyzes inventory usage to establish reorder points.
Monitors usage/researches/corrects shortages.
Maintains necessary records to track and order components.
Place orders with established suppliers.
Establishes/initiates strong trustworthy interdepartmental relationships for collaboration on material procurement.
Review and update vendor lead times.
Report order completion problems to Materials Manager.
Establishes/initiates strong trustworthy interdepartmental relationships.
Material Analyst Education/ Experience Requirements
2-5 years experience in material replenishment in a manufacturing environment
MRP Systems experience (Oracle MRP preferred)
