Position Responsibility (primary):
Complete monthly journal entries and general ledger closing process for two corporate entities Prepare monthly account reconciliations for the two corporate entities Reconcile and balance intercompany accounts Assist in the monthly consolidation process including uploading templates to the Hyperion Financial and reviewing exception reports Assist in the budgeting process including uploading templates to Hyperion, reviewing exception reports and analysis Assist in compiling underlying support for external financial reporting including documentation for the year-end audit process Apply account codes and review invoices and expense reports Assist in preparing and maintaining internal control compliance documentation Assist in many other ad-hoc analysis projects Assist in preparing budget for Corporate entities and also in the consolidation of those entities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: Accounting Candidate for or working toward passing the CPA exam Strongly proficient in Excel Hyperion Consolidation Software experience a plus 1 plus years of experience in a general accounting role Some experience with account reconciliations, accounting closes and preparation of journal entriesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
