Production Machinist Wanted
TE Connectivity is currently seeking Production Machinist that is capable of setting up and or operating Swiss style screw machines and Multi Spindle Automatics to their full capacity. The ideal candidate must be safety orientated and have a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
Responsibility:
Able to set up and operate Swiss Style and Multi Spindle Automatic screw machines to make a wide variety of complex components. TE Connectivity has open positions on three shifts ranging from operator to setup for the following types of machines Deco, Tornos, Citizen, Nakamura, Hydromat, Acme Gridley, New Britain, and Gildemiester
Has complete understanding of machine operation sequencing and the tooling
techniques required to produce compliant product with surface finishes within
specified tolerances.
Able to troubleshoot machine failures and develop solutions.
Able to sharpen, modify, or make tools required to produce components in
specification.
Able to use all types of inspection equipment which would include micrometers,
calipers, indicators, thread gauges, pin gauges, and optical comparator.
Education/
Experience:
Minimum 5 years demonstrated trade experience or other equivalent training and experience in the turning metal cutting areas. Must have the ability to understand and interpret blueprints and work independently with minimal experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
