Senior Piping Designer - Autoplant needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bellingham, WA.
Mid-Senior level Piping Designers with interest in other locations are encouraged to apply! Long-term opportunities are also available in Alaska, Montana, and California.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Bentley AutoPLANT and AutoCAD 3D Design
- Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial project experience
- Mid-Senior level Piping Designers are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Immediate O&G piping design project is on well sites and refineries.
- Produce overall 3D piping design, plant layout, isometrics, pipe support drawings, checking for O&G project per the client's needs.
- Produce all documents to fabricate pipe spools, purchase materials, and assemble piping systems.
- Lead the design effort for components of a large complex project
- Provide project design on small to medium sized projects from conception through detailed design
- Coordinate design criteria with engineering, tooling, material, and planning group in accordance with contractual specifications.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Six (6) plus years of Piping Design experience - opportunity for both mid and Sr. level AutoPLANT Piping Designers.
- Heavy industrial industry experience required; oil and gas preferred on well site, refinery, shale gas, cryoplant, petrochemical processing systems beneficial.
- Bentley AutoPLANT and AutoCAD 3D Design required
- Plant layout, equipment layout, piping design, P&ID review, pipe support selection, drawing, and checking.
- Experience doing field walk downs and working onsite at oil and gas facilities is beneficial
- Ability to travel to the client's location when necessary (local and/or remote); approximately 5-15%
- Looking for team players with strong work ethic
