Specific Duties:
Preparing material take offs and bill of materials from shop drawings.
Creating small part drawings using AutoCAD.
Developing product designs and details from estimates, architectural drawing requirements and customer requests.
Using shop drawings to develop fabrication drawings for shop production.
Requirements:
High School Diploma with Associates Degree
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Excel and Windows based computers
Must be highly detail oriented
Must have good written and oral communication skills
Should have a high mathematical and logical aptitude
Must be highly detail oriented and have the ability to solve problems with little guidance
Regular and predictable attendance
Safety oriented
Self Started, motivated with ability to start and finish tasks on time
Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherance to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
Preferred:
Autodesk Inventor or Revit experience
Experience in construction related field
