Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, and/or hand-places products at or above line speed while ensuring that the product meets appearance and quality standards.
Primary
Responsibilities:
1. Sorts sub-standard product out and ensures that the appearance and overall quality of product meets Nestl quality standards.
2. Watches for foreign matter in product and notifies Team Leader and/or Q.A. when foreign material is found.
3. Does not use excess materials/product.
4. Hand-weighs, hand-scoops, hand-counts, and/or hand-places products at or above line speed consistently and accurately.
5. Cleans workstation, bowls, and area at end of shift, prior to break/lunch, and during downtime.
6. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
7. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Communication:
1. Communicates with other team members on the line to ensure everyone is aware and prepared for the line to run.
2. Communicates all other problems and concerns to appropriate personnel (Team Leader, Q.A., Maintenance, EPSU, etc.).
Safety & Quality:
1. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good housekeeping practices
2. Uses proper personal protective equipment (PPEs) when on the production floor including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Check with the Training Department or the Safety Department for the specific protective equipment required in each area of the factory.
3. Is aware of proper Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) policy and procedures. Never places any body parts in moving machinery.
4. Follows proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.
5. Is aware of all hazards listed on the Prepweigher SHE sheet. Takes preventative measures to avoid injury associated with these hazards.
6. Understands location and purpose of E-stops and pull cords.
7. Maintains awareness of the environment in order to avoid collisions with fork-lift drivers and other machinery and employees on the floor.
8. Gets a copy of and reviews the current QMS for the position every day at the start of shift.
9. Ensures that product meets Nestl quality standards (i.e. correct size, standard appearance, no contamination, etc.).
10. Follows all applicable regulations and guidelines to ensure food safety.
11. Reports quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Department.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
