_Position Summary_
Responsible for supervising commercial lines agents and staff. Services existing commercial lines accounts while providing support for producers to facilitate the growth of new business and retain existing clients.
_Essential Requirements_
Performs supervisory responsibilities concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
Provides daily customer service to existing customers, documenting all conversations into the agency management system.
Coordinates renewals of existing accounts with producers, suggesting additional coverage's.
Discusses insurance needs with customers and advises customers on proper products to meet their particular needs.
Negotiates terms and premiums with underwriters and has the authority to bind coverage on behalf of underwriters of various insurance agencies.
Must maintain a license in good standing as required with the IN State Department of Insurance.
Must have valid driver's license.
Completes all compliance training related to the position.
Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
_Experience/Skills_
One (1) year to three (3) years' experience preferred or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Previous insurance customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of agency management and carrier rating systems.
Good communication skills.
Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
Attention to detail.
Property & Casualty license required.
_Travel Requirements_
Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
