This is an exciting opportunity to join a first class technology team that is developing accountable delivery solutions for the healthcare industry. The Database Developer will be responsible for design and implementation of structure/data changes, modifying and creating ETL, tuning SQL and databases, writing administration scripts, and working with development teams on various projects. The Database Developer will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering and design through coding and testing of our suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based products.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain data schemas and ETL logic in the data warehouse and other databases as required.
Define and implement all procedures to manage and safeguard the database environments, using mechanisms provided by the DBMS, custom or third-party utilities
Conduct data collection activities with external clients conducted via both face-to-face facilitated sessions and asynchronous information exchanges.
Define and implement, in a timely manner, the methods and procedures that provide the highest availability of the databases to the developer and end-user environments
Perform and troubleshoot data loads to the data warehouse and OLTP databases
Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems
Research and make recommendations on the DBMS that will meet the user/developer requirements within the hardware guidelines specified by management
Design, develop, implement, and maintain reporting (SSRS) from our core system and data warehouse
Experience - Qualifications - and Education:
Broad skills should include work experience within a Microsoft development environment.
Experience working in the healthcare industry as a data analyst, data architect, database developer, or other similar data related position required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required
2 plus years of experience in data warehousing technologies and methodologies within a Microsoft development environment
Excellent skills in TSQL, writing stored procedures & functions, in OLTP and OLAP systems
Experience leveraging and incorporating enterprise data warehouse, master data management, business intelligence, and predictive analytics technologies into the enterprise data architecture to promote agility and responsiveness to client needs
Candidate must be familiar with performing data quality analysis and profiling tasks, including source/target assessments, data model integrity, and redundancy checks
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies such as TSQL, SSIS, transaction processing (including batch commits), and complex stored procedures a must
Advanced query writing ability
Ability to write reports, technical specs, procedures, and correspondence
Working knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLCs) and their utilization in software development projects
Ability to apply group development standards and work constructively within a collaborative team environment
Strong problem solving, analytical, and design skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
