Role and
Responsibilities:
Consulting Managers have significant responsibility for project management, solution design and implementation, and generation of project results. Managers also have responsibility for mentoring consultants and senior consultants on the project team and helping them develop by providing necessary direction. As our client engagements are highly complex, this individual will also need to be a collaborative leader integrating well with other workstreams or activities that might be ongoing to achieve outcomes for our clients.
Managers utilize established procedures and consulting or change methodologies when possible, but must take a leadership role in the development of new procedures and methodologies when work situations require. Work situations range from routine to complex. The position requires the ability to analyze work flows and set priorities to insure timely completion, and manage client expectations and project budgets accordingly.
Contacts frequently contain confidential/sensitive information necessitating discretion at all times. Interactions will range from routine to complex and include presentations, one-on-one and group discussions. Negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade clients are important.
Managers will coach teams on achieving client satisfaction through consulting, drive upsell opportunities with existing clients, and coach the appropriate re-use of knowledge documentation.
Leads and focuses team efforts as engagement manager, including data gathering and analysis, data interpretation, process design and formulating conclusions and recommendations. Takes a hands-on role in execution and preparation of deliverables with the team.
Leads team efforts in developing solutions to difficult or complex client situations to ensure goals and objectives are met.
Collaborates with project planning and staff scheduling to insure leverage of resources.
Assists in developing work plans and coordinating daily fieldwork and project team activities.
Conducts client interviews related to data analysis, data interpretation, and process design.
Communicates effectively with all levels of client management.
Analyzes client issues and develops client recommendations for reports.
Monitors scope of client expectations surrounding delivery of generated results.
Informs engagement team leaders of the engagement status through verbal and written client status reports and achieving/exceeding budget expectations.
Responsible for quality and, in large part, delivery of final drafts of major reports.
Able to effectively discuss and resolve client performance issues.
Utilizes proprietary tracking tools to measure project progress and to measure benefits provided to clients.
Effectively directs, coaches, motivates and evaluates analysts and associates.
Experience - Qualifications - and Education:
BS/BA degree in business, industrial engineering, nursing or a health- related field
required
. A Master's degree in Business Administration or a Master's degree in Health or Hospital Administration is desirable.

years operations performance improvement experience with either a consulting firm (hospital/healthcare focus req.) and/or with a hospital/healthcare provider.
Project Management experience including creating work plans, budgets, managing budget to actual, and goal setting/benchmarks
.
Supervisory experience in a matrixed r project setting. Ability to coach and mentor staff.
Ability to actively manage and deliver on client expectations around project activities, timelines, deliverables, outcomes, etc.
Ability to provide targeted communication (written and verbal) to internal and external constituents.
Proven analytical and process redesign skills (problem solving, quantitative, workflow process, etc.).
Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and personalities in a team environment.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
