Responsibilities:
Works with other engineering disciplines and manufacturing to identify cost reduction opportunities.
Responsible for troubleshooting assembly and fabrication processes to improve yield and efficiency.
Responsible for investigating new processes to streamline assembly.
Responsible for conducting organized studies and experiments to identify the root cause of assembly or quality problems.
Responsible team member for new program production launches.
Responsible for new product pilot and ISIR runs, to insure proper assembly and function of all support equipment.
Investigates and initiates design changes for cost effectiveness.
Works closely with Product Engineering function to insure that new products are designed for assembly.
Serves as project leader on assigned projects.
Provides input to capital budget process.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Three years related manufacturing experience in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
Must have a high proficiency in current corporate package of software applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.

Technical Experience Preferences:
Personal Computer (PC) literate including software installation.
Programming of inspection systems for printed circuit board assemblies.
Understanding of Computer Aided Design (CAD) files.
Experience with Matrix 2D X-ray inspection system preferred.
Slice Filter Technology (SFT) preferred.
Familiar with UNIX operating system.
Networking skills.
Familiar with Surface Mount process including MPM paste printing, MVP and Koh Young paste inspection, Fuji component placement, Heller paste reflow oven.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
