POSITION PURPOSE Provides legal services for CHE Trinity Health and assigned Regional Health Ministry (RHM) consistent with the CHE Trinity Health Legal Department and, in coordination with, the needs of the assigned RHM senior management team, and the strategies and priorities of the organization. Responsible for handling a variety of routine to moderately complex legal matters or projects. Work requires independent judgment and often requires direct client contact. This position may be assigned to CHE Trinity Health corporate or a specific RHM providing legal counsel consistent with the CHE Trinity Health Legal Department, and in coordination with the needs of the assigned RHM senior management team, and the strategies and priorities of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Licensed attorney holding a J.D. degree from a recognized law school. Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience practicing law with some experience in the practice of corporate healthcare law, including the laws affecting tax-exempt organizations, with demonstrated legal capability covering diverse legal assignments that occasionally include legal matters of major significance. Must possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate directly, openly, and effectively with both internal and external constituencies. Strong negotiation skills and superb listening capabilities. Must possess the ability to work independently on routine matters. However, is expected to seek guidance and accept supervision on more complicated matters or where substantial amounts of money or significant other risks to CHE Trinity Health are involved. Attorney's work is subject to review by the CHE Trinity Health General Counsel, Managing Counsel or by other, more senior members of the CHE Trinity Health Legal Department. Must possess strong conceptual and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and consultative skills. Ability to deal tactfully with diverse people, situations and ideas and present advisory, persuasive and authoritative recommendations to all levels of the organization. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
